Reason for concern: Contains synthetic opioids and benzodiazepines
Alert: the pill or drug you are taking may not be what you think it is.
Drugs have been found in Adelaide that contain very potent opioids, benzos and animal tranquilisers. These have a high chance of killing you – even if you are a regular user.
EVEN TINY AMOUNTS OF THESE DRUGS CAN CAUSE OVERDOSE AND DEATH
If you are taking drugs, please remember:
- be cautious if buying from a new supplier
- be alert if a product looks different
- use smaller quantities and do not use alone
- call an ambulance immediately if someone has an unexpected reaction
- have Naloxone on hand and keep using until the ambulance arrives
Signs of OPIOID and BENZO OVERDOSE
- Slowed breathing
- Blue lips/fingernails
- Loss of consciousness and hard to rouse
