Tadalafil (Cialis) and methandienone (Dianabol) detected in a pressed pill acquired as MDMA

No MDMA was detected. The sample is a square coated pill with DP on one side and a half score on both sides.

What are these substances?

Tadalafil is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction under the brand name Cialis. Some people also use it as preworkout. In Australia, tadafinil is legally acquired through a doctor’s prescription.

Methandienone is an anabolic androgenic steroid, originally sold under the brand name Dianabol. It is not available as a prescription medication in Australia.

What are the risks?

Tadalafil (Cialis) can be dangerous to mix with certain older HIV medicines (protease inhibitors), antibiotics, blood pressure medication and stimulants. In rare instances, it can cause vision changes, priapism, or hypotension.

It is particularly dangerous to mix with poppers (amyl nitrate) as this may cause blood pressure to fall
excessively, which can cause serious heart complications.

Methandienone (Dianabol) poses risks of liver toxicity, cardiovascular strain and hormonal disruption, particularly for women. Repeated or high-dose use is particularly harmful.

Seek medical help if:
– An erection persists for several hours, as you
may have a priapism.
– You experience fainting, severe dizziness, heart,
vision or hearing issues.

  • Experiencing adverse or unexpected effects?
  • Ask for help and avoid taking more.
