2’fluoro-2-oxo-PCE & N,N-dimethylpentylone sold as ketamine

N,N-Dimethylpentylone (DMP), 2′-fluoro-2-oxo-PCE and MDMA found in white crystals sold as ketamine.  This sample was purchased 6 months ago in Sydney and tested by Pill Testing Australia at DIGI Festival.

White crystals may look the same or similar, but have entirely different contents. The only way to know what is in your drugs is to test them.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

What is DMP? A synthetic cathinone.  Synthetic cathinones are stimulants that may have similar effects to MDMA. Cathinones can significantly affect body temperature regulation and increase the risk of cardiac events (e.g. heart attack) and neurotoxicity.

What is 2’fluoro-2-oxo-PCE? Also known as 2F-NENDCK, it’s a novel analgesic related to ketamine. Both can impair motor/coordination skills, but they are cardio stimulants meaning they increase a person’s heart rate and blood pressure.

REDUCING THE HARM

DMP is a powerful stimulant additive that has been substituted for MDMA. The stimulant effects of DMP and the comedown can be much longer compared to MDMA. When users are expecting MDMA, the effects of DMP can be unpredictable.

Effects of DMP may include a significantly elevated heart rate, an urge to re-dose more frequently than with MDMA, elevated body temperature, tingling in extremities, anxiety, headaches and insomnia. When MDMA is combined with DMP the risk of stimulant overdose increases.
